Jim Flanagan - Right hand man to Arthur Jones, Former National Sales Manager for Nautilus and Medx
In 1968 Jim began strength training with Henry “Milo” Steinborn, world’s strongest man at the time and champion wrestler. He continued training with Milo for years to come and along the way met Arthur Jones, inventor of Nautilus and known worldwide as the man who changed the face of fitness forever. Jim purchased a full line of Nautilus equipment from Arthur in 1973 and proceeded to open Orlando, Florida’s first fitness center, Jim Flanagan’s Nautilus Fitness Center.
In 1975 Jim began working with Arthur Jones at Nautilus and remained by his side until 1987, when he sold Nautilus. During that time, Jim traveled the world speaking, training and educating in the proper methods of high intensity strength training. He worked with Hall of Fame coaches and athletes, Olympic athletes, Bodybuilders, movie stars, military agencies, “high up” government officials…the list goes on and on. In 1984 Jim was awarded the prestigious Pacific Air Force Fitness Award.
After the sale of Nautilus in 1987, Jim assisted Arthur in developing and founding Medx Corp., a medically based company specializing in low back, neck and knee rehabilitation. In 1991 they launched a full line of exercise equipment under the Medx name, designed specifically for fitness and rehabilitation. From 1987-1996 Jim continued traveling the world, promoting and selling Medx equipment and teaching people how to strength train properly.

Kim Wood - Legendary former Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Cincinnati Bengals and Founder of Hammer Strength
He started weight training as a youngster, training to become a better wrestler and football player. In 1972, he and Pete Brown launched and owned Nautilus Midwest, the largest Nautilus distributorship in the US responsible for selling 40% of all Nautilus equipment during the Jones era. In 1975, Kim became one of the first strength coaches of professional football, when he was hired by Paul Brown of the Cincinnati Bengals. During that time, he was also one of the three principals who created the now, world famous, Hammer Strength machines. He retired from the Bengals after 28 years with the team and was lucky enough to experience two Super Bowls along the way and trained many All-Pro NFL stars. He crossed paths with coaches Bill “Tiger” Johnson, Forrest Greg, Bill Walsh, Sam Wyche, Dick LeBeau and was maintained close friendships with Woody Hayes and Bo Schembechler.
